After over twelve months in the planning the book is finally here and available in all good book shops.
I cannot convey just how proud I am to have been asked to contribute to the Birmingham Book of 58 Artists and their unique view of Birmingham told in this series of Art pieces. I have four pieces of Art in the book and for me they reflect the multitude of colourful ethnicities and diverse cultures within Birmingham City.
I hope you look at the book and view Birmingham with a different opinion of the City, whether it be positive or negative, as an Artist we just want some kind of reaction to our work.
Images are judged within the first 5 seconds of seeing it so it's not long before you know whether you love the images or not and that's ok art is subjective and is made to be talked about.
My collection began life as photographs and with hours of editing, pixel by pixel and using a carefully chosen palette of colours I transformed my photographs into colourful pieces of Art especially for Birmingham.
Look out for my exhibition coming up in October at the Gunmakers Arms in the Jewellery Quarter featuring all the images in the Birmingham Book and more, including some Photographs of the city.
